Included
What a mosque app includes
The app is for the people who already attend, not a second website. These are the pieces committees ask for first.
Prayer reminders
Salah reminders for the masjid’s city, including Jummah, so the congregation is not checking a generic app.
Jummah alerts
A notice when Jummah time or the khateeb changes, sent from the same place the website is updated.
Donation links
A clear path to the masjid’s donation page for Sadaqah, Zakat, and appeals.
Class notices
Quran class and madrasah notices the congregation can open without searching the site.
Arabic and Urdu
Arabic and Urdu screens that read in the right direction, for the languages the masjid actually uses.
Tied to the website
Times and notices can follow the mosque website, so the committee does not publish the same thing twice.
Two ways to start
A focused app, or the website first
An app works best when the masjid already has a site the committee can update. We will say so if the website should come first.
The congregation
An app they can open
Reminders, Jummah, and a path to give, in the languages the masjid uses. The app is for people who already attend.
The committee
One place to publish
Notices start on the website, then the app can share them. If the site is not ready, start with mosque website development.
How we work
Four steps from brief to first build
We name who the app is for, price the first build in writing, review it with you, then help you launch.
01
Who it is for
Congregation, committee, or both — and the one job the app must do.
02
Written scope
Platforms, languages, and which notices the app must show — priced before we start.
03
Build and review
You try the build before it is treated as finished.
04
Launch and support
Store listing support and a walkthrough for the committee.
Quick answers
Mosque app questions
What is a mosque mobile app?
A phone app for the congregation: prayer reminders, Jummah alerts, class notices, and a link to give. It is not a copy of the whole website.
Do you build for iPhone and Android?
Yes. We scope iPhone and Android together when the congregation uses both. The brief names which one must come first if you need to phase it.
Should we build the website first?
Usually, yes. The committee should have one place to publish times and notices. If that site does not exist yet, we start with the website.
Can the app show Salah times?
Yes. Salah times can follow the masjid’s city, including Jummah, instead of a generic prayer app the congregation already has.
How do donations work in the app?
The app sends people to the donation page on your site. Card payments stay with PayPal or Stripe on that page.
