What a custom plugin can cover

A plugin is a tool on a site you already have. These are the pieces committees ask us to write.

Prayer time widget

A Salah widget for the masjid’s city, including Jummah, so nobody retypes the times each week.

Hijri calendar

Islamic dates beside the Gregorian calendar, ready to place on the pages you already have.

Zakat calculator

A calculator for Zakat questions, written for your currency and the way your committee explains the nisab.

Donation shortcode

A shortcode the committee can place on appeals, Ramadan pages, and the homepage.

RTL-ready markup

Arabic and Urdu labels that read correctly inside the widget, not only on the page around it.

Committee admin

Settings a volunteer can change — city, labels, and what the widget shows — without opening code.

Two ways to start

A widget on this site, or a tool of your own

Some committees only need a prayer widget on the current site. Others need a plugin shaped around how they collect Zakat or publish times.

On your current site

Add the tool you need

We place a prayer-time, Hijri, or donation tool on the WordPress site the committee already runs.

Built for this committee

A plugin of your own

The tool follows how you publish times, take Zakat, or brief volunteers. For a full site, see mosque website development.

How we work

Four steps from brief to handover

We write the plugin against a written scope, review it with you, then hand over a tool the committee can run.

01

Name the tool

What the widget must do, and what it must not.

02

Written scope

Screens, languages, and who will edit the settings — priced before we start.

03

Build and review

You use the plugin before it is treated as finished.

04

Handover

A short walkthrough for the committee, then support after it is live.

Quick answers

Plugin questions

What is Islamic plugin development?

Custom WordPress tools for a masjid: prayer times, a Hijri calendar, a Zakat calculator, or a donation shortcode. It is one tool with a job, not a pack of unrelated plugins.

Can you add this to our current site?

Yes. If the committee already has WordPress, we can add the tool there. A new mosque website is a separate service.

Do themes already include prayer times?

NauThemes themes already include Salah times. A standalone plugin is scoped when that widget is not the right fit for the site you have.

Who updates the plugin after launch?

The committee changes city and labels in the settings. Code changes stay with NauThemes under the support agreed in the brief.

How is a plugin different from a theme?

A theme is the whole site layout. A plugin is one tool inside a site. See all NauThemes services.

Ready to brief your
masjid plugin?

Tell us the tool, the site it must live on, and the languages. We reply with a clear scope.
